Contributions to a candidate for Council may only be made by individuals with a valid residential address in Ontario.

Businesses, Corporations and Unions are no longer eligible to donate to a municipal campaign.

An individual may contribute a maximum of $1200 to a candidate for Council, and a combined maximum of $5000 to all candidates (running for the same City Council).
